Our Vision

“The Vision” is such a big subject. Everyone has one, right but few people go after it, I mean really go after it. We at NorthPointe are going for it!

Our vision at NorthPointe is multifaceted.

1. Matt 22: 37 Jesus said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’[1]

2. Matt 28: 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.[2]

This is accomplished by putting our love (agape) into action towards each other and how we act and react to those outside of the church. Jesus died for “all” people because He loves them, even those who do not know Him “yet.” We believe it’s our responsibility to do what Jesus modeled for us….and act on it.

Loving our God with all our heart, soul and mind AND loving our neighbor as ourselves

AND making disciples. Both of these are carried out as we live out our life, in church, in our

Pointe Groups (small groups) and when we’re out and about in the world..
